Your request is not sold to a crowd
A Lead Path quote request is assigned to one approved brokerage. We do not auction the same request to a list of competing call centers.
Lead Path was built for a simple reason: people should not have to trade their privacy or peace of mind for a car-shipping quote. We review who receives your request, set clear participation rules, and keep a record when accountability matters.
One request. One approved brokerage. No lead-list auction.
The CarShipOS Promise
Trust has to be operational.
How we vet brokerages
A paid account does not automatically earn access to Lead Path customers. Brokerages move through a platform review and a separate Lead Path enrollment before they can receive a quote request.
FMCSA records are an important source of truth, but they are not a promise of future performance. We combine the public record with business-document review, explicit rules, and the ability to stop participation.
Before a brokerage can operate on CarShipOS, we review the legal business details, a government-issued ID, and business-formation documents.
We reconcile the brokerage identity and MC/USDOT information with the public FMCSA record. Missing or conflicting information must be resolved before approval.
Platform access alone is not enough. Lead Path requires a separate application with company contacts, service areas, lead preferences, and an operator approval.
The brokerage must accept the current Lead Path terms. We record the version, time, account, and IP tied to acceptance, and new terms must be accepted before lead delivery continues.
What customers can expect
Trust is more useful when it shows up as a rule, a visible identity, and a record someone can review.
A Lead Path quote request is assigned to one approved brokerage. We do not auction the same request to a list of competing call centers.
Your match identifies the brokerage and can show its MC/USDOT credentials, route fit, contact details, and links to live third-party review profiles when available.
Quotes, changes, communications, carrier checks, documents, and shipment events belong on one record so questions can be answered from evidence instead of memory.
We can review the account and its platform record, ask for supporting information, reject an application, or suspend Lead Path access while a serious concern is evaluated.
Lead Path participation standards
These are the customer-first behaviors we expect from a brokerage that receives Lead Path requests. Approval can be denied or suspended when the facts do not support continued participation.
How Lead Path worksA broker arranges transportation; a motor carrier physically moves the vehicle. Participating brokerages must not blur that distinction or present themselves as the assigned carrier.
Lead Path customer details are provided for the requested quote and transport workflow. They are not a list to resell or distribute to unrelated marketers.
Quotes should reflect the information available at the time. If vehicle condition, timing, route, equipment, or market availability changes the price, the customer should be told what changed and why.
The brokerage remains responsible for selecting the motor carrier. CarShipOS supports documented FMCSA authority, identity, safety, and insurance checks before dispatch.
Material quote updates, carrier assignments, dispatch documents, customer communications, and shipment exceptions should remain attached to the shipment record.
A missed update, delay, damage concern, or billing dispute should not disappear into a voicemail box. The brokerage is expected to communicate, document the issue, and explain the next step.
Broker vs. carrier
The Lead Path brokerage arranges the shipment and remains your point of contact. The motor carrier supplies the equipment and physically transports the vehicle. Vetting the brokerage does not remove the need to verify the carrier assigned to your car.
Before pickup, confirm:
If the promise is not being kept
Send the brokerage name, shipment or quote reference, what happened, and any relevant messages or documents. We can review the account and the activity available in CarShipOS, request more information, and decide whether Lead Path access should continue.
Report a concernIt can reduce avoidable risk. Identity review, federal-record checks, exclusive matching, documented rules, and suspension controls create meaningful friction for bad actors.
It cannot predict every outcome. Registration status and document review are point-in-time checks. They do not guarantee price, pickup dates, delivery dates, carrier conduct, or claim outcomes.
Your contract still matters. Read the broker agreement, dispatch information, bill of lading, cancellation terms, and carrier insurance details before releasing your vehicle.
Suspected regulatory violations or fraud involving an auto transporter can also be reported through the official FMCSA complaint process.
CarShipOS Promise FAQ
These answers explain what our brokerage review covers, what stays with the customer, and where responsibility changes hands.
It means the business passed a platform review that includes legal identity and formation documents, review of its MC/USDOT information against the public FMCSA record, and operator approval. Lead Path then requires a separate enrollment, current terms acceptance, and another approval before the brokerage can receive customer requests.
No. The brokerage arranges the shipment and hires a motor carrier; the carrier supplies the truck and physically transports the vehicle. The assigned carrier should be checked separately before dispatch.
No. A quote request submitted through the CarShipOS Lead Path flow is assigned to one approved brokerage and is not auctioned or resold to a list of competing call centers.
Yes. CarShipOS can reject an enrollment or suspend Lead Path access. A brokerage also stops receiving requests if it is not approved, its delivery is paused, or it has not accepted the current version of the Lead Path terms.
Yes. Ask for the legal name, MC number, and USDOT number, then compare them with the current public FMCSA record. For the motor carrier, also confirm the company shown on the dispatch paperwork and review the insurance information for the assigned vehicle and load.
No screening process can predict every future action, prevent every delay, or replace your shipping contract and the assigned carrier’s insurance. Vetting reduces avoidable risk, creates accountability, and gives CarShipOS a basis to deny or suspend participation when standards are not met.
